Pearland Cultural Arts Matching Grant Program Opens September 8

Ready your instruments! Submissions for Visit Pearland’s Cultural Arts Matching Grant Program open to Pearland-based nonprofit arts and culture organizations on September 8, 2025.
Visit Pearland is thrilled to once again provide assistance through this annual program, funded by the City of Pearland's hotel occupancy tax fund, for projects that support cultural and fine arts in Pearland. As the destination marketing organization for the city, Visit Pearland has managed the grant program since 2013 with past projects supported including the Puranava Indian Culture Festival, Pearl Theater productions, Pearland Lunar New Year, and Fusion of the Arts.
The application period for the fiscal year 2026 program begins September 8, 2025 and runs through October 20, 2025, with grants awarded in early December. Proposed programming must occur between October 1, 2025, and September 30, 2026 in order to be considered eligible for a matching grant. This timeline marks the beginning and end of the city’s 2026 fiscal year.
“The Pearland Cultural Arts Grant Program is more than funding—it’s a catalyst for community growth,” said Tracy Rohrbacher, Visit Pearland Executive Director. “By championing arts-driven tourism, Visit Pearland strengthens our economy, uplifts local artists, and enriches our cultural landscape.”
Nonprofit organizations based within the city limits of Pearland are encouraged to apply and must meet eligible criteria to be considered. Funding is limited to a $6,000 maximum grant application.
