ACC Foundation Awards Scholarships

ACC Foundation Awards Scholarships

The Alvin Community College Foundation recently awarded $91,250 in scholarships to current ACC students and graduating seniors from area high schools for the 2024-2025 academic year.
There were 71 scholarships awarded to graduating seniors alone at area high schools, including, but not limited to, Alvin High School, Manvel High School, Rise Academy, Dawson High School, Pearland High School, Danbury High School and Shadow Creek High Schools.
Every year the ACC Foundation raises much needed funds to help support ACC students through donations and fundraising efforts.  The Opportunity Scholarships for example, of which approximately 50 are given each year, are funded by profit from the annual ACC Foundation Gala.
“We are so pleased to provide these scholarships to local graduating seniors and current ACC students, supporting them in pursuing their higher education dreams. Seeing the excitement and joy on their faces makes all our hard work throughout the year truly rewarding,” said Wendy Del Bello, Executive Director.
