The Alvin College Foundation raised thousands of dollars for student scholarships and program support during the 4th Annual Designer Bag Bingo event on April 9.
More than 550 attendees played 20 rounds of bingo and won brand-new designer handbags from designers such as Coach, Marc Jacobs, Tory Burch, Kate Spade, Dooney and Bourke and more. Luciana Meadows won the raffle for a Louis Vuitton bag. An additional bonus round was played for five bags.
All of the proceeds will go directly to Alvin College student scholarships, grants and program support.
“Designer Bag Bingo has continued to grow over the past four years,” said Wendy Del Bello, Alvin College Foundation executive director. “While there are many winners from this year’s event, the greatest winners are our students.”
