ACC Regents Approve IT Contracts
The Alvin Community College Board of Regents voted to approve contracts for IT services during their meeting on July 25.
The $2.44 million contract with Ellucian Colleague will include renewal for existing services as well as additional services including an intranet platform. Some of the current services included are the online classroom platform, data extraction for reporting requirements, accounting software, course management and more.
Regents also approved an $85,124 contract renewal with HonorLock which provides proctoring software for online testing.
In other action, regents approved a one-year extension on President Dr. Robert J. Exley’s three-year contract.
The board also:
-evaluated proposed budget for 2024-25 fiscal year
-approved resolution to pay employees for closure during Hurricane Beryl
-approved hiring instructors for English, History, Math and EMS
-approved monthly financial reports
-heard report on performance and cost analysis of the past three years
The board will have its next meeting on Thursday, August 15 at 6 p.m. in the Nolan Ryan Center.
