14th ANNUAL PORT FREEPORT GOLF TOURNAMENT HOLES RECORD PROCEEDS FOR TEXAS PORT MINISTRY
FREEPORT, TX (November 26, 2025) – Port Freeport’s Commission and staff proudly presented a $93,000 check to Texas Port Ministry (TPM) during the Port Commission meeting held Nov. 20, 2025. The contribution represents proceeds from the 14th Annual Port Freeport Golf Tournament hosted by Port Freeport that will directly support TPM’s mission to provide spiritual, social, and physical care to seafarers, truck drivers, and port workers who rely on their services.The tournament, held Oct. 27 at The Wilderness

During the meeting, the Port Commission elected new officers for a two-year term.Commissioner Dan Croft, first elected in 2019, begins his second term after running unopposed for Position 5, Precinct 3.
