Alvin College Students Place in Pitch Competition
Two Alvin Community College Business Management students recently won funding for their start-up ideas in a recent pitch competition hosted on campus.
Sofia Incalcaterra and Bessica Hinton received first runner up and second runner up respectively during the event for their pitches. Incalcaterra received $1,500 and Hinton received $1,000.
The event was hosted by the Sanders Hand Young Billionaires Club and the National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship. The funding will be used for the students to pursue their business ideas presented during the pitch competition.
