April is Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month. Every 1 in 6 women and every 1 in 33 men have experienced rape or some form of sexual abuse. This means that every 68 seconds an American is sexually assaulted. Perpetrators are rarely held accountable and police stations across the nation are backlogged with hundreds of thousands of rape kits that are going untested.
Luckily, there are some amazing organizations out there dedicated to advocating for victims of sexual assault. That is why I have chosen the Women's Center of Brazoria County to be our donation recipient for Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month. The Women’s Center provides crisis intervention and housing for victims of domestic and sexual violence.
On Saturday, April 15th 100% of proceeds from all tattoo removal sessions at Second Chance Laser Tattoo Removal, LLC will be donated to the Women’s Center to help them continue offering the crucial assistance they provide to our community. To book your appointment, please call us at 979-315-9176 or go to the following link https://second-chance-laser-tattoo-removal.square.site/
If you would like to donate directly to the Women’s Center, please go to this link https://fundraise.givesmart.com/form/TldmPw?vid=y24gb
We will also be accepting donations of the following items for the Women’s Center throughout the entire month of April at Felicia Austin's House Of Beauty:

Thank you for reading and supporting such a worthy cause!
