Pearland International Festival
Travel the world at the Second Pearland International Festival, set for Saturday, September 13, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Pearland's Independence Park, located at 3919 Liberty Drive. Tastes and sounds from around the world include; Asian, Middle Eastern, Latin American, European, Caribbean and African cultures. This year, Mexico and its rich heritage of music, food and culture will be spotlighted; featuring live music performances by mariachi groups from across Houston and beyond as they compete and battle on stage for cash prizes before a panel of distinguished judges. iFest with its vast array of beers, foodie trucks, fine arts and culture and of course Grito Mexicano (Mexican scream) challenge for cash prizes, which is part of the Mexican culture .
