MD Anderson's Boot Walk to End Cancer

Supporters from around the world will come together for this year's event, walking 1.2 miles on MD Anderson's Texas Medical Center campus. A virtual event option allows participants to walk in their own neighborhoods, demonstrating that together, we can give cancer the boot!

Stay connected by downloading the Boot Walk to End Cancer mobile app (Apple/Android), which will track your steps, enhance your photos with in-app stickers and frames, and allow you to build awareness of our mission to end cancer by your participation in weekly challenges leading up to event day.

The Boot Walk to End Cancer is an annual fundraiser that provides support for MD Anderson’s mission to end cancer. This includes supporting patient programs and cancer research, prevention, and education initiatives. Thanks to our sponsors, 100% of funds raised by participants directly advance MD Anderson's mission to end cancer. There’s no registration fee. We encourage all participants to fundraise with no minimum requirement.

You can earn Boot Walk swag including the 2022 event T-shirt when you raise $100. When you register, you will receive free online and mobile fundraising tools, as well as staff support to help you raise funds and awareness among your friends, families and communities. Teams who raise $25,000 or more and individuals who raise $10,000 or more can designate the funds they raise to a specific MD Anderson program or project of their choice.
All ages are welcome to participate. There's fun for the entire family. Register today.
