DESCRIPTION:Our 1st annual Fort Velasco Day falls on Saturday\, June 26th to commemorate the 189th anniversary of the Battle of Fort Velasco.\n\nThis living history event will bring reenactors from across the state to give visitors a glimpse of what life and conflict was like at the mouth of the Brazos River in 1830s Texas.\n\nThis event will coincide with our Fort Velasco exhibit which will run from June through August 2021.
